YPO clinch Tbl inter village volleyball title

Thoubal, May 08 2025: YPO Thoudam emerged as the champions of the 6th Thoubal District Inter Village Men's Sub-Junior Open Volleyball Tournament 2025, following a 3-1 margin win over LEWA Lamding in the final held at SLGC Siphai Leikai playground on Thursday.

YPO came from behind to register an 18-25, 25-19, 25-20, 26-24 triumph over their opponents for their cham pionship title.

LEWA's Ph Ibobi walked away with the best player award, while Kh Sanayaima claimed the best setter accolade, with YPO's Th Sanjoy receiving the best spiker trophy.

The closing ceremony was attended by RK Tent House Yairipok proprietor Keishan Raju, Yairipok Municipal Council caretaker councillor Laishram Subash-chandra and Thoubal District Volleyball Association vice-president Toijam Goro-ba, All Yairipok Apunba Meira Paibi Lup secretary Kongbam Matouleibi, Citizen Pharmacy proprietor Loitongbam Nelson, and Thiyam Rajdhan.
