MNCA Women's U-19: SHADOW, PTRC win big

SHADOW exhibited a spectacular performance, defeating PCC by a massive margin of 157 runs in Sunday's action of the 3rd MNCA Womens U-19 One Day Trophy 2024-25 at THAU Ground.
Opting to bat first, SHADOW set an imposing total of 328/4 in their allotted 35 overs, thanks to a stellar century by Kebriya Devi Sapam.
Her explosive 143 off just 118 balls, including 26 boundaries, set the tone for the innings.
She was well-supported by Okram Yashica Devi (68) and Victoria Thokchom (64), who contributed with fluent half-centuries.
PCC (W) struggled in reply, managing only 171/5 despite a valiant 68 from Okram Yashica Devi.
SHADOW'S bowlers kept the pressure on, with Nongthombam Langlenthol-bi Chanu (3/33) and Kebriya Devi Sapam (2/18) leading the charge.
In the day's other action, PTRC secured a resounding 157-run victory over AL-AMEEN at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak.
Batting first, PTRC posted a competitive 247/9, powered by Linthoingambi Chanu Laishram's brisk 62 and Alina Devi Laitonjam's steady 45.AL-AMEEN's reply faltered early, collapsing to 90 all out in just 23.3 overs.
Linthoingambi Chanu Laishram was the star with the ball, claiming 4/17, while Konsam Sayatombi Devi (2/10) and Linthoi Khulem (3/36)
provided crucial support.
