Kang tourney: Oinam Kendra-A pin LZKA to reach semifinals

Imphal, May 08 2025: Oinam Kendra-A pulled off a narrow 15-14 victory over Keisamthong Kendra (LZKA) in the quarterfinals of the 1st Lainingthou Sanamahi Players' Memorial Kendra-wise League-cum-Knockout Open Kang Tournament 2025, held at the Wangoi Longjam Leikai Community Hall.

The closely contested match saw Oinam Kendra-A take an 8-7 lead in the first half.

Both sides added 7 points each in the second half, but Oinam's early advantage proved decisive in the final outcome.

In the next quarterfinal fixture on May 10, Nambol Kendra will face Wab-gai Kendra (WALYDA) .

The tournament is being organised by the Lainingthou Sanamahi Kang Association (LSKA), Wangoi.
