KFC clinch Thoubal 2nd Div League title

Imphal, November 06 2022: KFC, Thoubal Haokha-Kiyam Maning Leikai were crowned champions of the DFA Thoubal 2nd Division Football League Tournament 2022 after UMFC (Moijing) got the better of SOCDEC (Wangjing) on the last day of the league on Sunday.

KFC were unbeaten throughout all of their six matches, which included a draw, securing 16 points for their league title.

UMFC, who swept aside SOCDEC 3-0 on the final day of the league, claimed the second place.

They ended their campaign with 13 points from four wins, a loss and a draw.

The last day match saw Babur (37) and Salatur (60) score for UMFC whose other goal came via an own goal by SOCDEC's N Dizango (52) .

SOCDEC completed the top three with 11 points, followed by EEO (8), HU (8), PADSW (3) and REFA (0) .
