YOSC drub TRAU 5-0; NACO hold Sainik to 1-1 draw in MSL

Imphal, February 19 2025: YOSC romped to a 5-0 win over TRAU, while NACO held Sainik SIOBFC to a 1-1 draw in Wednesday's fixtures of the 17th Manipur State League 2024-25 at Sagolmang Ground.

YOSC's emphatic win was spearheaded by Laishram Daniel Khuman, who netted a superb hat-trick.

Obed Shaiza set the tone early, opening the scoring in the third minute.

Daniel then took centre stage, striking twice in quick succession in the 32nd and 35th minutes before completing his treble from the penalty spot in the 48th minute.

Keithelakpam Ibotomba sealed the rout with another penalty conversion in the 68th minute.

Meanwhile, NACO showcased resilience to salvage a point against Sainik SIOBFC in a tightly contested encounter.

Sainik took an early lead in the eighth minute through Naorem Robert, but NACO responded with renewed determination in the second half.

Their persistence paid off in the 60th minute when Takhenchangbam Krishnananda Sharma found the equaliser, ensuring both teams shared the spoils.
