Wushu star Rabichandra felicitated by FSC Kakching

Kakching, August 10 2025: Friendship Sporting Club (FSC), Kakching Phoushupat Leikai, organised a felicitation programme for multiple medallist Mayanglambam Rabichandra, who has achieved outstanding success at national and international wushu championships this year.

Rabichandra clinched a gold medal at the Moscow Stars International Wushu Championship held in Russia from June 1-7, 2025 .

Earlier, in May, he struck gold again at the 25th Sub Junior National Wushu Championship in Tamil Nadu.

Continuing his remarkable run, he secured a silver medal at the 12th Asian Wushu Championship 2025, held at Pegasus Water Tower, Jiangyin, China, from July 23-30 .

The felicitation event, held at Kakching Phoushupat Leikai Mandop, was attended by Naorem Sanjitkumar, caretaker chairperson of Kakching Municipal Council; Pukhrambam Sanahal Devi, caretaker councillor of Ward No 4; and M Dorendro, president of Kakching Phoushupat Leikai Shinglup, among others.

Rabichandra's father, Mayanglambam Sanayaima, and his coach Naorem Niroda, also shared the dais.

A native of Kakching Phoushupat Leikai, Rabichandra is the son of Mayanglambam Sanayaima and Inaobi Devi.

He trains at the NN Mangang Wushu Academy, Turel Achouba Pareng, Kakching Moirangthem Leikai, under the guidance of Naorem Niroda.

Over the years, he has excelled at state and national levels and is currently honing his skills at Boys ARC, Happy Valley, Shillong.
