YPHUC, FORCE notch up wins in MNCA Women's U-19 Trophy

Imphal, May 08 2025:
YPHUC secured a 3-wicket win over PCC in a league match of the MNCA Women's U-19 One Day Trophy at SEDOC Ground on Thusday.
PCC opted to bat first but were bowled out for 129 in just 23.4 overs, despite a valiant 30 from Okram Yashica Devi and 18 by Keithellakpam Katrina Devi.
YPHUC's bowlers shone, with Loktongbam Terina Devi (3/32) and Joyshree Charoi-bam (2/18) leading the attack.
In reply, YPHUC faced early setbacks but were anchored by a brilliant 63 off 62 balls from captain Tongbram Nilky Devi.
Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, they reached the target in 29 overs, finishing at 130/7 .
Manithoi Salam (2/24) and Nongthombam Langlentholbi Chanu (2/28) were standout bowlers for PCC.
In the day's other match, FORCE triumphed by 45 runs against SHADOW at THAU Ground.
Batting first, FORCE posted 106 all out in 18 overs, thanks to a blistering 59 off 31 balls from Barkatun Khanam, including 8 fours and 3 sixes.
SHADOW's captain Pri yanshee Hanglem was the star with the ball, claiming an astonishing 7 wickets for just 18 runs.
In response, SHADOW crumbled to 61 all out in 19.1 overs, with only Victoria Thokchom (16) offering resistance.
FORCE's bowlers were relentless, with E Firdos Hasina (3/6) and Rahmatun Khanam (2/15) ensuring a comprehensive victory.
