Langlen FC win 2nd Ima Panthoibi Trophy Football Tournament

Kakching, February 02 2025: Langlen FC (Lamjao) beat FC Lamjao 1-0 to in the final of the 2nd Ima Panthoibi Trophy Football Tournament 2025 at MPA Thounaojam playground, Kakching district, on Sunday.

Roshan was the hero for Langlen FC as his 20th-minute goal eventually secured the victory for his team.

The tournament's closing ceremony was attended by former Hiyanglam AC MLA Elangbam Dwijamani as chief guest, Mata Panthoibi Association president Thounaojam Yaima as president, and former Kha Manipur College principal and former DSA Kakching president Yengkhom Mangoljao, and social worker Konthoujam Manihar as guests of honour.

Individual prizes went to Langlen FC's Mashu Macha (best player) and MTFC's Premchand (top scorer), while Mata Panthoibi Association (A) received the best disciplined award.

Winners Langlen FC walked away with a cash prize of Rs 70,000 and runners-up FC Lamjao got Rs 40,000 .

The closing event featured cultural performances by the Litan Youth Club (Kom), Sh Linthoingambi and her team (Meitei jagoi), and the Pu-rum Tampak Sporting Club (Chothe) .
