SHADOW, YWC, Al-Ameen reach MNCA Boys' U-14 Tournament quarterfinals

SHADOW, YWC and Al-Ameen cemented their places in the quarterfinals of the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament 2024-25 with commanding performances in their pre-quarterfinal clashes on Thursday.
SHADOW delivered a clinical display to dismantle TRAU by 9 wickets at Khudeiband Lampak Taothang.
After bowling out TRAU for 172 in 28.2 overs, spearheaded by a collective bowling effort.
Arubam Goshan, Kh Devis and Chinglemba Haobam claimed 2 wickets each, with Tomthinnganba Rajkumar and Thoudam Lanchenba adding one apiece.
SHADOW chased down the target in 21.2 overs.
TRAU's innings saw notable contributions from Potsangbam Jeet (60), Keisham Yaikhomba (19), Ningombam Ambedkar (16), and Ringku Moirangthem (14).However, SHADOW'S chase was anchored by a dominant 149-run opening stand between Kh Devi (78) and Sagatpam Telheiba (71*), with Arubam Go shan (1*) sealing the comprehensive win.
YWC breezed past YAL with an emphatic 8-wicket victory.
YAL collapsed for 87 in 21 overs, courtesy of a fiery five-wicket haul' by Daneil Seram, supported by Kelvinson Khoisam (2 wickets) and Seram Tondonsana, Leishangthem Chinglemba, and Leishangthem Chingthang (1 each) .
Thoiba's 21 was the lone resistance for YAL.
In reply, YWC raced to victory in 11.1 overs, driven toy Seram Tondonsana's unbeaten 37 and Mujamin's 26*, with Sayonba (16) chipping in early.
Al-Ameen secured a 6-wicket win over YESSDAN at PTRC Ground.
YESSDAN posted 104/6 in their 20 overs, led by Heisnam Bungo (28) and Oinam Jeertivash (19*), while Al-Ameen's Shohel Akter and Awais starred with two wickets each.
In response, Al-Ameen navigated the chase in 14.5 overs, guided by Maibam Ashique's pivotal 31 and contributions from Pukhrimayum Ruhan (16*), Sheikh Anisur Rahaman (11), and Shohel Akter (11), overcoming minor hiccups to seal the win.
