KIWT: Dr GG Crozier to face Nanglhun in U-15 football final

Kangpokpi, February 02 2022: Dr GG Crozier Mission Compound defeated Enjakhup Veng 3-1 in the semifinal on Wednesday to set up U-15 football final with Nanglhun Veng in the 18th Kangpokpi Inter Ward Tournament 2022 .

Lunginthang Haokip's hat-trick in the 7th, 16th and 24th helped Dr GG Crozier Mission Compound reach the U-15 boys' final berth.

Sasang scored the lone of Enjakhup Veng in the 28th minute.

The final match between Dr GG Crozier and Nanglhun will be played on Eebruary 4 .

In veteran quarterfinal matches, Sipinthei Veng defeated Vengthah 5-4 via penalty kicks after a goalless draw to face Nanglhun Veng in the semifinal while Chengjapao Veng had an easy 3-0 win over Phungtin Veng to meet Jonlhing Veng.

Lelen Haokip (14th OG), Lalam Hangshing (29th) and Vunggoulen Kipgen (44th) scored for Chengjapao Veng.

In main football quarterfinal matches, Phungtin Veng defeated Enjakhup Veng 2-0 to set up a semifinal match with Kholmun Veng while Sipinthei Veng overcame Chengjapao Veng 4-3 via tie break after a goalless draw to play Jonlhing Veng in the other semifinal match on Thursday.
