YWC (L), RCA and MODEL hardly broke a sweat, while AMCA struggled past their opponents in Sunday's clashes of the 3rd MNCA Mens U-19 One Day 2024-25.YWC (L) delivered a crushing defeat to SSC, by a staggering 347 runs in their meeting at Khudeiband Lampak.
YWC posted an imposing total of 371/7 in their 40 overs before dismantling SSC for a mere 24 runs in just 11.1 overs.
Opting to bat first, YWC's innings was spearheaded by a brilliant 86 off 75 balls from Sorokhaibam Thoungamba Singh, who anchored the early stages with nine boundaries.
Yumnam Sushil stole the show later with a blistering 73 off just 33 deliveries, including 12 fours.
Yumnam Kumar also contributed a composed 63 off 60 balls, ensuring YWC finished with a mammoth total.
SSC's bowlers struggled to contain the onslaught, with only Ajman (2/48) and Sadique (1/59) managing breakthroughs.
Extras proved costly for SSC, conceding 53 runs in wides, no-balls, and leg-byes.
In reply, SSC s batting lineup crumbled under relentless pressure from YWC's bowlers.
Pukhrambam Roshan Khuman was the star with the ball, claiming remarkable figures of 5 wickets for just 4 runs in 5 overs, including three maidens.
Yumnam Athouba complemented him with 4/19, as SSC were skittled out for 24 in 11.1 overs.
SSC's run chase saw five batters fall for ducks.
The innings lasted just 67 deliveries.
RCA, meanwhile, pummelled SU by 309 runs at Moijing Public Ground.
RCA batted first and piled up a mammoth total of 366 runs.
Their innings was spearheaded by a breathtaking double-century from captain Naesh Hussain, who blazed his way to 201 off just 96 balls, including 17 fours and 17 sixes.
He was ably supported by Md Alfash (63 off 37 balls) and Zamir Khan (30 off 26 balls) .
Despite a flurry of wickets in the latter stages, RCA's aggressive approach ensured a daunting target of 367 for SU.
For SU, Keisham Yakhomba (4/65) and David Keisham (3/82) were the pick of the bowlers, though the rest of the attack struggled to contain RCA's onslaught.
In reply, SU's batting lineup crumbled against RCA's disciplined bowling.
Zamir Khan starred with the ball, claiming 5 wickets for just 25 runs, while Zuned (4/24) and captain Naesh Hussain (1/5) ensured SU never gained momentum.
Only David Keisham (18 off 15 balls) offered brief resistance as SU were bundled out for 57 in 16.3 overs.
MODEL dominated THAU, securing a massive 139-run victory at Khangabok PartIII, Cherapur.
Irungbam Tonton's explosive 67 (43 balls, 5 fours, 5 sixes) and Biyon Naorem's 32 propelled MODEL to 178 all out in 23 overs.
THAU's reply crumbled for just 39 in 20.1 overs, with Biyon Naorem (5/11) and Leevasky Thongbam (4/23) wreaking havoc.
THAU's batting lineup collapsed, with only Leevasky Thongbam (10) reaching double figures.
Meanwhile, AMCA beat CYCLONE by 7 runs in a closely contested match at Lairenjam Public Ground.
Batting first, AMCA posted 157 all out in 39.5 overs, with SS Albash (35) and Md Sarif (31) making notable contributions.
CYCLONE's Reolin Oinam starred with the ball, claiming 5 wickets for 38 runs.
In reply, CYCLONE fell short at 150, despite Robinson Sougaijam's resilient 47 and Thom-san Moirangthem's 40.AMCA's Sahid Khulakpam (3/19) and captain Moichingmayum Md Yakin (3/24) sealed the win with disciplined bowling.
