MNCA Superplate: TCMDC thrash KASC by 10 wkts, RCA beat BLUE HAWK

Imphal, December 20 2024:
TCMDC inflicted a 10-wicket rout on KASC, while RCA outperformed BLUE HAWK by 28 runs in Friday's fixtures of the 4th MNCA Superplate Tournament 2024-25 .
Opting to bat first, KASC struggled against TCMDC's incisive bowling attack, collapsing for just 75 runs in 29 overs.
Thongam Nganthoi spearheaded the attack with a stellar four-wicket haul, well-supported by N Arbin's three wickets.
Laishram Va-lindra and Rain Urikhibam chipped in with two and one wicket, respectively.
KASC's batting faltered, with only WM Rajak (16) and Shahir Khan (14) reaching double figures.
TCMDC's openers swiftly completed the run chase in just 7.4 overs.
Maibam Ashokumar led the charge with an unbeaten 45, complemented by Suraj Kharibam's 20 not out, sealing a resounding victory.
In the other match, RCA elected to bat and posted a competitive 188/8 .
Syed Hussain dished out an outstanding knock of 80 off 51 balls, while Md Alfash contributed a steady 40 .
Zamir Khan (22), Imran Khan (15), and Naesh Hussain also played key roles in building the total.
BLUE HAWK's bowlers shared the spoils, with Ningombam Jackeichan and Samsung Heisnam taking two wickets apiece, and Semson Soibam and Pradeep Oinam picking one each.
BLUE HAWK's response fell short as they were bowled out for 160 in 28 overs despite valiant efforts from Nongthombam Ajit (50) and Amom Guniram (33) .
Aziz Mirza spearheaded RCA's bowling attack with three crucial wickets.
Zamir Khan provided excellent support with two dismissals, while Danish Khan and Nasirshah Alam claimed one each to secure RCA's win.
