Imphal, October 20 2024: Youth Club, BDBA and ESU notched up wins on the third day of the 28th Boys & Girls State Youth Basketball Championship 2024 underway at Nahabam Basketball Court, Imphal East on Sunday.

Youth Club began the day with a 36-23 win over Model Club.

After trailing 4-2 in the first quarter, they rebounded with an 8-2 score in the second quarter, followed by an 8-4 advantage in the third, and finished strong with an 18-13 in the fourth.

BDBA triumphed over St Xavier with a score of 31-21, after losing the first quarter 7-10 but dominating the subsequent quarters with scores of 12-6, 4-1, and 8-4 .

Meanwhile, ESU registered a commanding 45-15 victory against YOSC.

They led 9-2 in the first quarter, expanded their advantage to 15-2 in the second, and maintained control with a 17-4 score in the third, despite a slight setback in the final quarter at 7-2 .

In the girls' matchup, ESU delivered a resounding 40 -9 defeat to RK Sanatombi.
