DYA romp past JA 7-1 in Kakching 1st Division League

Imphal, June 13 2024: W Shivadash scored four goals as DYA romped to a 7-1 win over JA in the Kakching 1st Division Football League on Thursday.

DYA roared into action from the word go and scored three goals inside-35 minutes.

Shivadash opened the floodgates with a second-minute goal.

Sunder Elangbam found their second in the 13th minute before Shivadash netted his second moments later to triple the lead.

Then W Shyamchandra made it 4-0 in the 47th minute as Shivadash ran riot to complete his four-salvo, scoring in the 51st and 61st minutes, before N Rohit rounded off the scoring in the 63rd minute.

JA got their consolation goal in the 73rd minute through N Rajen.

Meanwhile, the match between AIFA and SFC had to be called off halfway, following a crowd trouble.

Both sides scored one goal when the game was abandoned.

Renedy converted for AIFA early before L Abung drew level for SFC towards the end of first half.
