Inter CRPF Bn badminton tournament concludes

Imphal, July 06 2022: The Inter GC/BN (Adm/Ops) Badminton Tournament 2022 of Manipur & Nagaland Sector hosted by Group Centre CRPF, Langjing, Imphal concluded on Wednesday.

Manish Kumar Agrawal, IG Manipur & Nagaland Sector, was the chief guest and Madan Kumar, DIGP GC CRPF Imphal, was the coguest of the closing ceremony.

All senior officers, SOs and jawans were also present at the closing event.

In the final of the doubles event, 143 Bn defeated 87 Bn while GC Imphal beat 32 Bn in the final of the singles event.

IG Manish Kumar Agrawal and DIGP Madan Kumar handed out prizes to winners and runners-up.

H Premjit Meetei, commandant 87 Bn, was named the best player of the tournament, which began on July 4, 2022 .

The chief guest and the co-guest while congratulating the winners and the runners-up expressed hope that 143 BN and 87 Bn would bring laurels to the force at the inter-force level like all India police meet and national level.

A total of 12 teams representing Manipur & Nagaland, Range Imphal, CH, Imphal, GC, Imphal, 32 Bn, 69 Bn, 86 Bn, 87 Bn, 109 Bn, 143 Bn and 173 Bn participated in the tournament, said a release from the GC CRPF Imphal.
