CYC storm into Chandel 2nd Div League final

Imphal, November 02 2024: Chakpikarong YC romped past Chandel Christian YC 4-1 into the final of the Chandel 2nd Division Football League 2024 at Ziontlang village football ground, Chandel on Saturday.

N1 Kanlun set the pace by opener for Chakpikarong in the 12th minute, followed by Py Earlystar who extended their lead in the 17th minute before Wng Rucho narrowed the deficit for Chandel Christian in the 44th minute.

However, Chakpikarong's Ws Phahrin took control, adding two goals in the 71st and 80th minutes to send his team to final.

Meanwhile, DSA Chandel announced on Saturday that the Second Division League's third promotional match between Mahamani YC and Chandel Christian YC will take place on November 14, 2024 at 2 pm, while the final match featuring Damjol YC and Chakpikarong YC will be held on November 5 at 12 noon.
