LCCC clinch Veteran T-20 cricket title

Imphal, February 28 2023: LCCC (Lilong Cha-jing) beat CYCLONE (Thangmeiband) by 68 runs to win the 10th Manipur Veteran T-20 Cricket Tournament on Tuesday at Luker Ground, Imphal West.

LCCC elected to bat first and scored 125/8 with efforts from S Rakesh (43), O Gulshananda (35), W Srinivashan (17) and Y Jillangamba (5) .

They then bowled out CYCLONE for 57 in 12.4 overs.

Md Akbar was the pick of LCCC's bowlers, taking three wickets while L Krishna, Y Jilla and N Sanjit bagged one each to help their team win the final match.

Earlier, S liken picked up four wickets, Lamnganba snapped two, and Md Iqbal and W Surjit took one each for CYCLONE.
