32 players, 4 coaches selected for softball nat'ls

Imphal, January 23 2023: Sixteen athletes and two coaches each for men and women's teams have been selected to represent Manipur in the 44th Senior Softball Championship (Men & Women) to be held at Puri in Odisha from February 5 to 9 .

In a release, Manipur Softball Association secretary RK Dhiren Singh informed that the men's team include manager T Kiran Singh, coaches Th Loken and E Deepak Singh and players Th Bibek, Y Jims Singh, A Nongthon Meetei, H Graf-pit Singh, M Lamjingba Luwang, Anand Laishram, M Bikram Singh, L Rabi Singh, A Dinku Meetei, N Naoba Singh, N Leingakpa Meitei, Ronel Kabrambam, K Bankimchandra, Ch Khaba Meitei and Abit Hijam.

The women's squad include manager RK Kar-namoi, coaches S Sujata Devi and L Binita Devi and players Y Monika, Th Sandhyara-ni, N Sophiya, Ng Ranjita, Th Anjali, A Bidyaluxmi, L Sarju, Nganthoi Th, Benita E, N Sana, Langlen Chanu Ng, S Uma, N Rejiya, S Lanlei-ma and Stella Longjam, the secretary informed.

While advising the selected players to report to the Association's Khuman Lampak Sports Complex office on January 25 at 7 am for the final briefing, the secretary cautioned that in case of failure to report on the specified day and time then their replacement would be considered from reserved players.
