Rockyson Yanglem clinches Mr Imphal West 2025 title

Imphal, August 10 2025: Rockyson Yanglem of TAT Gym, Yumnam Huidrom, emerged as the overall champion, securing the prestigious Mr Imphal West 2025 title at the 20th Imphal West District Body Building Contest, held at Langol Laimanai Meetin Sang on Sunday.

The event brought together 42 competitors from 25 gyms across the district.

Athletes vied for honours in men's sports physique, master, junior, and senior categories.

In the senior category, Rockyson delivered a commanding performance, displaying superior muscle symmetry, conditioning, and stage presence to outshine a highly competitive line-up.

Yaikhom James of Sangai Gym, Khagempalli secured second place, while Miniketan Hawaibam of Icon Gym, Hodam Leirak finished third.

Khangembam Rishikanta Singh of Friend Fitness Gym, Tera took fourth spot, with Bramacharimayum Inao Sharma of Royal Gym, Ningomthong rounding out the top five.

Rockyson also excelled in the junior category, again taking the top spot.

He was trailed by Yaikhom James in second, Miniketan Hawaibam in third, Khangembam Rishikant a Singh in fourth, and Bramacharimayum Inao Sharma in fifth.

In the master category, Laishram Okendro (MPSC, Imphal) won first place, with Longjam Ashokkumar Singh (TAT Gym, Yumnam Huidrom) in second and Potsangbam Bonny Singh (Glory Gym, Kwakheithel) in third.
