SCHS honours student footballer representing Manipur at Junior Boys' NFC

Imphal, August 02 2025: Singjamei Chingamakha High School (SCHS), Imphal West, hosted a reception ceremony on Saturday in honour of Khomdram Denish Singh, a Class X student who recently represented Manipur at the Junior Boys' National Football Championship for the Dr BC Roy Trophy 2025 .

Notably, Manipur emerged as champions of the tournament.

Denish Singh, son of Khomdram Sunderlal Singh and Khomdram (o) Rk Dhaneshori Devi of Heirangoithong Awang Maibam Leikai, was felicitated by the school community for his outstanding achievement in bringing recognition to both the school and the state on a national platform.

Headmistress Thokchom Renu Devi lauded Denish's success, highlighting that the Class X student, bearing Roll No 3, had brought laurels to the institution.

She encouraged other students to pursue excellence not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities.

The event also saw generous monetary contributions from the teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as from students present at the ceremony, as a gesture of appreciation and support for Denish's sporting endeavours.
