State boys ease into Mini Handball National Championship quarters

The state boys eased their way into the quarterfinals of the 17th Mini Handball National Championship Boy's & Girls' Mumbai 2023.Manipur beat Jharkhand 25-13 for their place in the last eight on Monday.
Ksh Yaothoiba led the scoring with 11 goals, and Kash Arjun chipped in with nine goals.
Kh Jupiter, on the other hand, contributed four goals while Ksh Gelix added one.
Earlier in their first match, the state boys handed a 36-10 hammering to Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, the girls' team secured a comfortable 16-5 victory against Himachal Pradesh in their fourth match on Tuesday.
L Monika scored seven goals while N Pitalika, N Selina and Aliya each contributed three goals.
Earlier, the state girls defeated YAASHVI (Delhi) 30-25 courtesy of L Nomika (12 goals), N Pitalika (8), N Selina (8) and N Aliya (2) .
In their second match, they beat Himachal Pradesh 20-13 as L Nomika Devi scored eight goals, N Selina Devi netted seven, N Pitalika grabbed four and N Aliya Devi got one.
The girls' team went down fighting against Maharashtra in their campaign opener.
They lost 15-16 to the hosts.
