Imphal, October 20 2024: SDC were crowned champions of the 24th Imphal West Super Division Football League 2024 as IFC and CHIKL played out a 4-4 draw on the final day of the League held at Pamyal Ground on Sunday.

SDC were deserved winners of the tournament, making a clean sweep of all their five matches.

SDC started their campaign with an easy 3-0 win over SFC on September 23, 2024 .

They then beat CHIKL 2-1 on September 30, continued their winning run with an identical 2-1 triumph over IFC on October 11, then cruised past KYC-N 3-0, and wrapped up their impressive run with a 3-1 victory over YUC.

SFC finished second with 10 points from five games, and IFC claimed third place with seven points, followed by CHIKL (4 pts), KYC-N (4 pts) and YUC (3 pts) .

In the league's last match, IFC staged a remarkable comeback from a three-goal deficit to salvage a 4-4 draw against CHIKL.

Indrajit (12) and Bikramjit (37, 41) had given CHIKL a commanding 3-0 lead before IFC turned the game around with goals from Ngayumi (47, 49), Obed (56), and Thuinganing (72), along with an own goal by Gladen (68) .
