KMMRS-A, MPSC-B complete semis lineup of Polo tournei

Imphal, December 15 2021: KMMRS-A and MPSC-B triumphed in their respective quarterfinal matches to complete the semifinal lineup of the 1st Imphal West District Polo Tournament on Wednesday.

KMMRS-A outscored KRYPSH 7-5 to earn their place in the last four.

H Mohindro took center stage as he came up with a six-goal salvo for his side.

He scored a double across three chukkers.

The KMMRS striker set the tone for his six-goal barrage with a double in the first chukker and then scored another double in the third chukker before he rounded off his collection with a pair of goals in the fourth chukker to propel his team to a 7-5 victory.

O Roger also got on the scoresheet with a goal in the third period.

On the other, H Renishon scored a treble and K Sona got a double for KRYPSHA in a losing cause.

MPSC-B, meanwhile, hardly broke a sweat on their way to the semifinals.

They handed out a 10-2 thrashing to Laman Polo Club-A.Four goals from O Suresh, three from H Abung Khuman, two from T Pradeep Kumar and one from Th Ranjit steered the police team to an emphatic triumph en route to the last four.
