AR organises volleyball matches at Shakpao village

Imphal, May 14 2024: Assam Rifles by organised friendly volleyball matches for the residents of Shakpao village in Ukhrul district.

According to an IGAR (S) press release, the volleyball matches were witnessed by a large number of Shakpao locals.

The final match saw the village team emerge victorious, winning three sets out of five.

Following the games, the company commander of Shakpao Company Operating Base interacted with the villagers.

In recognition of their participation, the village team was honoured, and refreshments were provided for all attendees.

The village authorities and residents thanked the Assam Rifles for organising such an enjoyable event and pledged their support and cooperation to the security forces, the release added.
