Manoranjan Memorial Football : Juvenile edge out SDC 2-1 to enter semis

Imphal, February 08 2025: Juvenile, Tera edged out SDC, Samurou by 2-1 goals in the first quarterfinal match of the ongoing 15th Shaheed Manoranjan Memorial Football Tournament at SAI Turf Ground, Takyel.

Juvenile led the first half in the keenly contested match thanks to Birjit's early 6th minute strike.

SDC fought back in the second half and drew level through Mutum Wanglen in the 65th minute and when the regulation time looked almost to end in a 1-1 draw, Swamichandra hit the winner for Juvenile one minute into the stoppage time and broke the hearts of SDC fans.

Deep four minutes into the stoppage time, Juvenile lost Rihas off the second yellow but it was too late for SDC to draw level and made their way back into the game.
