Imphal, October 30 2022: Phamdom Arun, Yumnam Thomas and Moirangthem Lamjingba claimed the junior category titles in the Mr Kangleipak Contest organised by Manipur Amateur Body Builders' Association (MABBA) at GM Hall.

In the Sub-Junior short category bodybuilding competition, Phamdom Arun of MK Fitness Centre emerged on top as Nameirakpam Dutta of XTreme Fitness and Leihao Mathew of Pravabati Fitness finished second and third.

Wangkhem Naocha Meitei of SBBF and W Sansan Singh of Smart Fitness were fourth and fifth in the competition.

Meanwhile in the Sub-junior medium height competition, Yumnam Thomas of KBB Gym finished first while Hijam Deepak Singh of Pravabati FC and Elangbam Churchill of Emoinu Gym finished second and third.

Minaketan Haw-aibam of Smart Fitness and Moirang-them Kabichandra of Smart Fitness secured fourth and fifth places.

In the sub-junior tall category, Moirangthem Lamjingba of KBB Gym took the top honour as Paikhomba Thoudam of Pravabati FC and Mutum Punshiba Meitei of MKFC finished second and third.

In the super tall category, Lamjingba Moirangthem of KBB Gym finished first as Paikhomba Thoudam of Pravabati FC and Mutum Punshiba of MK Fitness Centre finished second and third.

Junior Bodybuilding Competition
Khumukcham Warren of Smart Fitness-Nambol was crowned the champion in the junior men's short height category event finishing ahead of Taibanglakpa Leishang-them of Pravabati Fitness Centre (2nd), Moirangthem Pareihanba Meitei of Lamyanba Gym-Yairipok (3rd), Ningthoujam Raj of Lamyanba Gym (4th) and Potsangbam Binod Meitei of MK Fitness Centre-Sagolband.

In the medium height competition, Ksh Sarjukumar of Pravabati FC finished first as Elangbam Jonish of MK Fitness Centre, Moirangthem Miliner of Lamyanba Gym and Chongtham James of Icon Gym finished second, third and fourth.

In the tall competition, Leishanthem Bishwarjit of YBBC Gym-Yurembam finished first as Hawaibam Surdas of Pravabati FC, Phamdom Johnson of MK Fitness Centre and Yaikhomba Sanabam of Lamyanba Gym finished second, third and fourth.

In the super tall category event, Lourembam Napolean of Lamyanba Gym, Henba Thokchom of Pravabati FC and Karnajit Huiningshungbam of MK Fitness Centre sealed top three positions respectively.

Men's Physique Competition
Oinam Libert Meitei of MK Fitness Centre claimed the below 165 cm men's physique title as Pravabati Fitness Centre's Longjam Johny and Kshetrimayum Sarojkumar secured second and third places.

MK Fitness Centre's Phamdom Arun Meetei and Hawaibam Sushilkumar of Smart Fitness Centre finished fourth and fifth in the same event.

In the men's physique competition for above 165 cm category, Hawaibam Surdas of Pravabati Fitness Centre emerged on top as Leishangthem Bishwarjit Singh of YMBC Gym and Moirangthem Sagar Singh of Blue Tooth Gym finished second and third.

Henba Thokchom of Pravabati Fitness Centre and Moirangthem Kabichandra of Smart Fitness Centre were fourth and fifth in the competition.

Masters Bodybuilding Competition
Chongtham Naochinglen of KBB Gym was crowned the above 40 years champion as Thongam Debajaji of 35 AR Royal Gym, Yumnam Tomba of 35 AR Royal Gym and Laimayum Sekhorjit of NT Gym finished 2nd , 3rd and 4th.In the above 50 years category, Khumukcham Bijinta of KBB Gym and Moirangthem Ranjit of NT Gym finished 1st and 2nd.96 teams from 17 gyms across the State participated in the bodybuilding and physique competition.
