They got off to a bright start with a series of incisive runs which yielded positive results in the form of an own goal in the 5th minute as Bishonath of FC Lamjao fumbled to net into his own net.

Stung by the goal, FC Lamjao rallied back and pulled level in the 11th minute with Yaiphaba scoring the equaliser in the 11th minute.

With the score locked at 1-1, the two sides got the game going with a series of exchanges and the Lamjao team surged ahead in the 32nd minute when Priyo converted a well calculated move.

The Churachandpur side were also relentless in their attempts and dug deep into the added time before the break (45+2') to equalise the margin courtesy Siamminthang strike.

The game however tilted in favour of SYMROPIA FC after the restart as they entered with more intent and eventually regained the lead through C Paoginmuan goal in the 66th minute before K Lachhuansanga further extended the lead to 4-2 in the 72nd minute.

Back to back goals left the FC Lamjao defence in the lurch and taking advantage of it, Helsuanpao carried forward the scoring spree adding a goal in the 80th minute before Khupminllun rounded off the scoring one minutes from time.

Later in the first Group E league match of the day, Muvanlai Athletics and KYVO entered into the break goalless before Hautingsem ended the goal drought and gave the Kangpokpi side the much awaited lead in the 75th minute.

KYVO, however, pulled level at the stroke of the 90 minute mark as Maheshchand converted a penalty.

Lungjapao of MA was sent off as he picked up successive yellow cards in the fag end of the game.

Meanwhile in the second group E league match and today's last, KRFC thrashed LYCC, Chandel 5-1 for second win in the trot thanks to Y Dayananda double.

Dayananda scored the opener 13 minutes into the game before SK Bunghong equalised in the 15th minute for LYCC, Chandel.

The parity did not last long as Dayananda scored his second to help KRFC retain the lead two minutes after the equaliser and L Paul Kom converted another chance in the 42nd minute to help KRFC head into the break with a 3-1 lead.

KRFC, with the comfortable lead, rested back for a major portion of the second half until Singte Geroge added the team's 4th goal in the 83rd minute and M Ishaiya slotted home the final nail in the 88th minute.
