Salai Chess Academy players in 3rd International FIDE Rating Chess Tournament

Imphal, July 08 2019: A team of 8 players of Salai Chess Academy has left Imphal today to participate in the 3rd Internaional FIDE Rating Chess Tournament to be held from tomorrow till 14th July, 2019 at Down Town University, Guwahati.

Under the sponsorship of Salai Chess Academy, the present team including Yambem Dhanabir Singh, one of the top rated players who has also qualified chess arbitership has been accompanied by other 7 eminent players - Aribam Muhindro Sharma, Thongam Nabachandra, Laishram Nelson, Leishangthem Devitchand, Sougaijam Priyokumar, Nadia Sougaijam and Lemba Sougaijam.

In this tournament which is going to kick off tomorrow at 3 pm, many top rated international players, including one grandmaster will be participating.
