60th Mr Manipur : Ksh Maradona wins Mr Manipur title

Imphal, December 05 2022: Maradona Kshetrimayum of Muscle Factory-Kakching clinched the Mr Manipur crown yesterday at the 60th edition of the State Level Bodybuilding and physique championship organised by All Manipur Body Builders Association here at Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre.

Maradona Ksh topped the senior men's 90 kg category and sealed the overall title to win a new car worth Rs 4.08 lakh.

Melson Nongmeikapam of Royal Gym, Konthoujam Arnold of MPSC, Leitanthem Dinesh of Manipur Fitness Club and Wahengbam Kiran of MPSC finished overall second, third, fourth and fifth and sixth respectively to seal cash prize of Rs 50,000; Rs 30,000; Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively besides medals, trophies, certificates and gift hampers.

6th placed Laishram Neta of United Gym Manipur-Naoremthong, 7th placed Kh Uttamkumar of Friend Fitness Centre, 8th placed Yuvraj Sonar of Royal Gymnasium-Ukhrul and 9th placed Boris Pechimayum of 3 Brother's Gym-Kongpal were also feted with cash prize of Rs 7,000 each along with medals, trophies, certificates and gift hampers.

Friend Fitness Gym emerged team champions of the competition as RCC Body Building YAS were declared runners up.

Royal Gym, Ningomthong emerged the unit/gym with maximum athletes at the championship as Mutum Daneshwor of Friend Fitness Gym and Yuvraj Sonar of Royal Gymnasium, Ukhrul were adjudged best coach and best poser.

Boris Pechimayum of 3 Brother's Gym, Kongpal, Y Chinglensana of Gym 24 and Anoubam Arun of Humanity Plus Gym claimed the top three positions in the senior men's 55 kg category competition earlier yesterday.

In the 60 kg category competition, Laishram Neta of United Gym Manipur, Naoremthong; Laishram Naresh of Iron Addict Fitness Gym, Ningthoukhong and Potsangbam Nandajit of MPSC sealed the top three places as Yuvraj Sonar, Ra-tan Singh of Gym 24 and Buyamayum Azmir Khan of DJ gym & Fitness Centre claimed the top three spots in the senior 65 kg category competition.

In the 70 kg category competition, Kh Uttamkumar of Friend Fitness Gym, Yumnam Luwangba of Royal Gym and Lamjingbam Ningthouja of RCC secured top three places as Wahengbam Kiran of MPSC, Pebam Ronen of Friend Fitness Gym and Maibam Ronald of Lifestyle Fitness Gym emerged 1st, 2nd and 3rd in 75 kg category.

In the 80 kg category, Leitanthem Dinesh of Manipur Fitness Club, Md Fajirul Haque of The Gym Reborn and Keisham Mizen of The Oriental Gym secured the top three places.

Konthoujam Arnold of MPSC and Melson Nongmeikapam of Royal Gym also claimed the 85 kg and above 90 kg category competitions.
