Imphal, August 03 2025: Manipur United FA (MUFA) sealed the title of the U-13 Asmita City Football League 2025-26 with a 1 -0 win over Youth Welfare Club, Thambalkhong (YWC-Th) in the final this evening at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

The lone goal that earned MUFA the title of the 8-team knock-out tournament was scored by Sayani in the 5th minute.

Earlier in the quarterfinals, MUFA overwhelmed Khuman FA 8-2 before blanking ICS A, Irengbam 3-0 in the semi-final to book their final berth.

Malemnganbi (7', 21', 22', 35') starred in MUFA's quarterfinal win against Khuman FA as Sayani (10', 24') added twice and Diviya (32') and Merinda (46') chipped in a goal apiece.

Aisha (16') and Dashila (28') were on target for the losing team.

Meanwhile in the semifinal, Sayani (14'), Malemnganbi (25+1') and Merinda (32') netted a goal apiece to set up the 3-0 win against ICSA.

YWC-Th, meanwhile reached the final with a 6-1 thrashing of ESU, Wangkhei Palace Compound.

H Victoria (36', 47') scored a brace in the team's victory after Th Martina (4'), L Russia (15'), A Roshina (24'), and Y Linthoi (35') registered a goal apiece.

N Lakhipyari (49') scored the consolation goal for ESU in this match.

Earlier in the first round match/ quarterfinal YWC-Th were declared winners via draw of lot following a 9-9 draw with KRYPHSA, Naoremthong in the regulation time and penalty shoot-out.

In other first round matches, ICSA outlasted YWC-L 3-0 courtesy of goals from I Daina (44', 50+2') and T Rezia while ESU knocked out AMMA, Andro by 3-1 goals courtesy of S Hemabati's brace (17', 20') and M Milky (39') as Ch Roshni scored the lone goal for the Andro side.
