Jain establishments to remain closed on Sept 25

Imphal, September 23 2026: All business establishments belonging to the Jain community will remain closed on September 25 in observance of Anant Chaturdashi.

During the Mahaparva, the community is offering special prayers for peace in Manipur, harmony among all communities and progress and prosperity of the State.

The Jain community conveyed the universal messages - "Ahimsa Paramo Dharma" - Nonviolence is the supreme religion and "Live and Let Live" .
