VDF Assn drops stir plan

Imphal, January 03 2022: All Manipur VDF Welfare Association has called off its proposed agitation from Tuesday as chief minister N Biren reportedly assured of fulfilling their demands.

In a release, All Manipur VDF Welfare Association president O Bijoy Singh recalled that they had warned of launching intense form of agitations if the state government failed to honour demands of the association's central committee within December 3.The chief minister assured of fulfilling the demands through VDF chief advisor, he continued, while urging the CM to translate his assurance into action before enforcement of election code of conduct.
