Noney, December 01 2021: Noney Battalion Assam Rifles of 22 Sector IGAR (East) organised a Civic Action Programme for the financial year 2021-22 at Nungba sub-division on Wednesday during which five foot-sewing machines were distributed to the Women Society, Noney.

As a part of the programme, an interaction session with women of all ages was also organised to make the attendees aware on education, personal hygiene, fundamental rights, self-dependency, employment, birth control, etc.

The programme was carried out with the aim to educate the womenfolk regarding their significance and contribution in uplifting the society.

The Civic Action Programme was attended by the Women Society members and village authority members of Nungba.
