Border gates to reopen for exporting medicines

Imphal, August 01 2021:
The international border Gate 1 and 2 located at Moreh will be reopened after months of sealing due to the ongoing pandemic.
In a notice, deputy secretary (home) Peter Salam has asked deputy commissioner of Tengnoupal district on "Saturday to reopen the gates for export of urgent Covid related medical items to Myanmar.
The notice was issued as per the order from the Ministry of External Affairs (BM division) that instructed the state government to open Gate 1 and 2 at Moreh for export of the medical items.
However, the ministry pointed out there shall be no import from Myanmar till further orders.
