Imphal, September 27 2012: Aids and appliances were provided to disabled persons today at Kanemram village in Chandel district today by Society for Health Education Development (SHED) State branch office, Pallel, Chandel in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacture Corporation, Guwahati.

The distribution function was graced by DC Chandel, Th Chitaranjan; SDC Chandel Ringkham; SDO Chandel Shyam Poonia.

Altogether, 5 tricycles, 19 wheelchairs, 20 elbow crukh, nine walking sticks, 14 blind sticks, 50 small wheel chairs, 50 solar battery chargers etc were distributed .
