Imphal, May 28 2010:
In a devastating fire suspected to have been ignited from cooking gas leakage, four shops including a pharmacy have been gutted destroying properties worth around Rs 3 lakhs at Kwakeithel Leimakhujam Leikai at around 12.30 pm today.
The ill-fated shops namely Gomti Pharmacy, Tiddim Fish Centre, Dhaneshwar Saloon and Ramkrishna Poultry Feed Agency were housed in a double-storeyed building constructed of wood.
The owner of the building has been identified as Laishram Priyobrata s/o late Laishram Shyamkumar of Kwakeithel Leimakhujam Leikai.
