MACA warns SBI Chandel

Imphal, August 29: Taking strong exception to the refusal of the authority concerned to replace SBI Chandel branch Manager Altias, the Maha Area Chief's Association has decided to launch an agitation on September 1 .

Subsequent upon the complaint letters lodged to the Director General Manager SBI-Dispur, Guwahati and Assistant General Manager, SBI Zone Shillong on August 28, a special meeting of Chandel Sub-Division Chiefs' Association was held today under the aegis of Maha Area Chiefs' Association.

Because of the agitation on September 1, there will be no bank transaction on the day, informed a release issued by MACA.
