Imphal, Sep 05: Chandel District Contractors' Association (CDCA) has demanded revocation of the cease work notice issued on Pallel Chandel road by the Commissioner of Works after issuing work orders in March 2006.In a memorandum submitted to the Governor, special contractor and secretary of the Association D James Lamkang informed that the resolution to urge for revocation of the cease work notice with September 12 was taken during a joint meeting of Chandel District Contractors' Association and All Manipur Contractors' Association at Manipur Press Club, Imphal yesterday.

The memorandum has also warned of taking recourse of legal method of agitation if the demand is not comply with within the said deadline.
