DVC Chandel reiterates

The District Vigilance Committee, Chandel has reiterated that the urban population of Moreh block is only 6,037.Reacting to the clarification made by several organisations regarding alleged uneven allocation of fund to various blocks of Chandel district, the DVC Chandel asserted that there are only 6,037 rural populace in Moreh Block.
A statement issued by the DVC Chandel wondered how some organisations like the MCM, ACODOM, GSS, TS, MMCM are claiming funds under BRGF and other schemes which are allocated to the tribal people of Chandel.
It pointed out that a minimal amount of Rs 86 lakh has been allocated for Khengjoy with 20,067 rural population while Rs 3.69 crore is allocated to Moreh which has only 6,037 rural population.
It further urged tribal apex organisations like UNC, KIM, ATSUM, ANSAM, KSO (Ghqs) to look into the matter.
