AR saves man bitten by snake

Noney, August 10 2025:
A 45-year-old man from Noney-IV village narrowly escaped a fatal snake bite on the evening of August 9, thanks to swift medical intervention by the Assam Rifles.
Aron Gangmei was rushed to the Assam Rifles Unit Hospital in Noney after being bitten on the left foot by a venomous snake.
At the Unit hospital, he was examined by a team of doctors and paramedical staff, who immediately administered life-saving treatment.
Once his condition stabilised, Aron was discharged from the hospital.
