Aid extended to lightning strike victim

The Like Minded Group (LMG) has extended monetary aid to the tune of Rs 5000 to Lourembam Basant (53) who was struck by lightning yesterday.
Lourembam Basant is currently undergoing treatment for his severe injuries at Asian Hospital.

He hails from Nambol Lourembam Maning Leikai and has a wife, two sons and one daughter, said a statement issued by Rakesh Naorem, publicity secretary LMG.
The LMG team was led by publicity secretary Rakesh Naorem and accompanied by secretary Ojit Sorokhaibam and Kunjeshwar Mangsatabam, and members Surendra Ningombam and Boinao Maibam.
