Thoubal, September 05 2024: Members of Young Association Leishangthem (YAL), Leishangthem Khongmanung Mayai Leikai disinfected various areas under its jurisdiction with bleaching powder and slaked lime this morning.

According to a statement, the sanitization effort was taken up under the supervision of Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department, Thoubal with the goal of disinfecting the decaying organic matter left behind by the recent floods.

YAL and locals have expressed gratitude towards the EE, PHED Thoubal and other concerned officials for the sanitization effort.
