Imphal, September 16 2019:
The People's United Youth Alliance (PUYA) has condemned the statement made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a Hindi Diwas programme on September 14 in connection with the need to make Hindi the National language in the aim of One Language One Country.
A statement issued by the president of PUYA alleged that this is an attempt to annex the small communities by the larger communities and added that this shows that small communities do not have a place in the so called democracy of India.
PUYA will stand firm to protect Meiteilon or Manipur language against all threats and appealed to all the people to do the same.
