Assam Rifles nabs two cadres of HPC-D

Imphal, May 30 2021: Loktak Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (East) apprehended two active cadres of HPC-D (LK Hmar faction), a non SoO group, from Molvaiphei village of Churachandpur district on Saturday, said a PRO IGAR (S) release.

While informing that based on specific intelligence inputs, the battalion troopers launched operation in general area of Molvaiphei village and apprehended the two cadres of HPC-D (LK Hmar faction), the PRO identified as the captives as Hrangbitkthang Hrangchal of Ankhasuo village and Ramchunghung of Lungthulien village, both in Pherzawl district.

The apprehended cadres were handed over to Churachandpur Police Station for further investigation, added the release.
