Imphal, May 27 2024: The World Environment Day was observed under the theme 'Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience' at Royal Academy of Manipur (RAM) School, Pangei Bazar on Monday.

The observance was attended by forest beat officer Maibam Bakendra as chief guest and RAM School chairman Dr Ksh Kala as president while principal Md Ansar Khan and senior teacher Sumeru Thapa were guests of honour.

As part of the observance, the chief guest distributed around 150 tree saplings to students and teachers.
