Imphal, April 26 2021: The Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal West has today remanded Additional Director Education (S) RK Tenedy to judicial custody till May 10 .

Additional Director Education (S), RK Tenedy (59) was arrested by Lamphel police on April 18 on alleged charge of extortion and nexus with an underground outfit.

RK Tenedy, a resident of Ghari Awang Leikai was produced before the Court today after the completion of the police custody period along with the prayer for judicial remand for smooth investigation of the case.

The Court, after hearing the submission of IO through APP, defence counsel and on perusal of the case granted the judicial custody remand till May 10 .
