Imphal, October 15 2024: Assam Rifles held a wreath-laying ceremony on October 14 at the Battalion Quarter Guard, Moreh, Tengnoupal district in honour of Havildar Ramakant Singh, who made the ultimate sacrifice during an operation against insurgents in Torabari, Assam, on October 13, 2003 .

Havildar Ramakant's sacrifice is etched in the annals of Assam Rifles history, inspiring current and future generations to uphold the ideals of duty and selflessness, said PRO IGAR (S) in a press release.
