Imphal, February 04 2025: Department of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Services organised a one-day training on "Biomedical Waste Segregation, Management & Disposal" at its Sanjenthong office on Tuesday.

The training programme chaired by its director Dr RK Khogendrajit Singh had JNIMS technical supervisor (incinerator plant) Arju Oinam delivering a lecture on biomedical waste management, importance of waste segregation at source, consequences of improper waste management inhospitals, and classification and disposal of biomedical waste for officials of State Veterinary Hospital and Disease Investigation Laboratory, Sanjenthong.
