Imphal, January 30 2018: In connection with the Swachh Survekshan campaign, winners of the cleanliness drive which was conducted at all 14 wards of Ningthoukhong Municipal Council, from January 7 till 27, were awarded today.

The award distribution ceremony was organised by ningthoukhong Municipal Council at Ningthoukhong Bazar in which MLA of Bishnupur AC, Govindas Konthoujam graced the event as chief guest, Ningthoukhong Municipal Council Chairperson Kangabam Mani Singh as president and MAHUD Director N Geetkumar Singh as guest of honour while Councillors of all 14 wards were also present as presidium members.

The wards which maintained a clean and healthy environment were awarded during the event.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Govindas urged every individual to begin healthy lifestyle from their own surrounding.
