Imphal, September 26 2022: The allegation of an IED bein gplanted at Kambiron by a CRPF personnel is being probed by a team led by an Additional DGP of Manipur.

This was stated by Chief Minister N Biren at a public function held at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport this morning.

The Government is there to protect the lives and rights of citizens, he asserted.

The Chief Minister stated that the Government would never allow such activities.

Notably, one personnel of 87th Bn CRPF allegedly planted an IED at Kambiron, the native village of freedom fighter Haipou Jadonang on September 24 in collusion with 39 Assam Rifles.
